A practical guide to image quality, printable areas and the details that make a difference.
Start with your original file
Use the largest original image available. Screenshots and files forwarded through messaging apps can lose detail. The studio supports JPG, PNG and WebP files up to 8 MB.
Check the resolution
The same image has less detail per inch when printed larger. Watch the studio’s resolution guidance for your selected size. Upscaling changes the pixel count but cannot guarantee that missing detail becomes accurate.
Keep important details inside
Keep faces, logos and text within the safe area. Extend backgrounds through the bleed area, where shown, so small cutting variations do not reveal a white edge.
Color and small type
A screen emits light and print reflects it. Colors can vary by material and printing process. Fine lines and small text need extra care; the final artwork review is the place to confirm critical details.
