Description

We are very excited to have guest designer Elena Salo on our blog today sharing an easy way to dress up gift boxes with the help of Spellbinders dies. Hi dear friends. Elena Salo is here and I’m so happy to be with you again and share more creative inspiration! You might remember my first post sharing inspiration with Spellbinders December Card Kit go the Month, find it here. Today I have 2 easy to make projects to share with you. I wand to show how one can easily decorate gift boxes using pretty much any die sets from Spellbinders. Let’ start with the first one! I used a plain white box as the base for my projects. You can make your own boxes to make sure they are perfectly sized for the gift you are planning to give or use pre-made boxes. Instructions: Cut light purple cardstock panel and adhere it onto the box. Die-cut the lattice using Untamed Scrolls and cut out the frame. Make three similar die-cuts and glue them together for the extra dimension.   Adhere lattice onto the box. Die-cut three labels using die set from December Card Kit of the Month. Cut the border off the light purple label using scissors.   Stamp sentiment on the label and foam mount it onto the box. Add embellishments – I used a pre made flower and die-cut little leaves.   Here’s a look at the second box I embellished using Spellbinders dies. It’s a quick and easy to make project and doesn’t take more than 20 minutes to complete. Instructions: Cut light blue cardstock panel slightly smaller than a box and adhere it onto the top of the box. Die-cut large label with Royale Flourish die three times: two pieces out of white and one more out of gold cardstock.   Glue two white labels together, add gold one from behind and offset slightly. Stamp sentiment on the frame. Adhere label onto the box. Add leaves, flowers and liquid jewel drops to embellish the box. Here are some close up photos of this project.
